TERMS & CONDITION
Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully before registering as a tutor with My Academic Connect. By submitting your application, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms.
- Eligibility
Applicants must be Malaysian citizens and possess at least a minimum academic qualification such as SPM, Diploma, Degree, or equivalent. Tutors should have good academic results and strong subject knowledge in the areas they wish to teach. Prior teaching or tutoring experience is preferred.
- Commission
My Academic Connect will charge a 50% commission based on the first month’s tuition fees. From the second month onwards, tutors are entitled to receive 100% of the tuition fees. The commission must be paid promptly after receiving the first month’s payment.
- Termination/ Cancellation of the tuition class within 1 month
If the tuition is cancelled or terminated within the first month by either the tutor or the parent/student, 30% of the total fees collected will be payable to MyAcademicConnect. Tutors are required to inform us immediately of any cancellations or changes.
Tutor Responsibilities
Tutors are expected to be professional, punctual, and responsible at all times. They must maintain good communication with students and parents and conduct lessons according to the agreed schedule and standards.
- Transportation
Tutors are responsible for arranging and covering their own transportation costs. For home tuition, tutors are required to travel to the student’s residence.
- Nature of Service
Home tuition sessions are conducted on a one-to-one basis at the student’s home. Online tuition must be carried out in a professional and structured manner.
- Liability
MyAcademicConnect acts solely as a platform connecting tutors with students and parents. We are not responsible for any disputes, conflicts, or damages arising from the tutoring arrangement.
By registering as a tutor, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all the terms and conditions stated above.
